AEM's short cold air induction system for the 2005-2007 Cobalt SS 2.0 Supercharged is designed to be very mass air flow sensor friendly. Because it only replaces the tubing BEFORE the mass air flow sensor, it will never create a check engine light.
This piece has an aluminum tube that attaches onto the mass air flow sensor, as well as a high flow AEM air filter for increased power.
Every AEM intake is powder coated and has TIG-welded fittings and brackets. For filtration, AEM utilizes its new lightweight urethane, four-layer cotton-gauze filter that features a redesigned air horn that makes an additional 1-3 HP. All AEM air induction systems are C.A.R.B. exempt or pending exemption (50 state legal) and come with complete installation hardware, comprehensive instructions.
